"Flexible tickets take the guesswork out of it"
I use Stagecoach a few times a week, mostly for work, and the flexible ticket options do make life easier. I can just grab a day ticket or go for a longer pass if I know I’ll be travelling more. The app is straightforward too, and switching between bus tickets and area tickets hasn’t caused me any real hassle. It’s nice not having to guess what I need every time, which feels like something that should have been made this simple ages ago

"Got me to work right on time"
I took the bus to work a few times this week it showed up on time every single morning. The driver wasn’t exactly speeding along or anything, which at first had me wondering a bit, but to be fair we still arrived right when the app said we would.
I also had to make one change, and that bus turned up pretty much right on schedule too. My commute can be a bit stressful usually, or maybe I just overthink it, but this made things feel a lot easier. Definitely happy to give it 5 stars

I kind of figured the route options near me wouldn’t be great, that’s exactly what I found. There just aren’t enough routes in my area to make it very useful for me.

"Not much use at night or weekends"
The night bus situation where I am is barely helpful. Like… it’s technically there in some cases, but not in a way you can really count on.
Weekends are the biggest problem, especially after early evening. I’ve had to leave things way earlier than I wanted, or just give up and pay for a taxi because the last bus had already gone. And Sundays, yeah… it really feels like they forget some people still have work or places to be.
During the day it’s usually fine, so I can’t say it’s completely useless. But if you need to travel at night or on weekends, it’s just not reliable enough. I’d give it 2 stars.
"Bus didn’t show up again… make it make sense"
The bus was late again today, and there was absolutely no update at the stop. I was just standing there not knowing if it was coming in 2 minutes or 20. Make it make sense, if the bus isn’t turning up, at least let people know.

The driver was really careful on the road, just took things nice and steady. I felt safe the whole time, which makes such a difference

The app is easy to use overall. I haven’t really had any major issues with it, at least not that I can remember. Most days it does what I need, though I guess there’s always a chance I’m missing some features or not using it the best way.

I was genuinely shocked by how comfy the seats were. Like, I expected to be miserable the whole time, but the trip ended up feeling so easy and relaxed it almost felt like a little travel miracle

"Pretty easy to get around"
I’ve used these buses a handful of times now, mostly when I don’t feel like driving or dealing with parking. The stops I’ve been to are easy enough to figure out, and it’s usually been a low-stress option. I’ll check the schedule out of habit, but I haven’t really had to stand around for too long most of the time since the buses seem to come regularly

"Surprisingly easy booking, for once"
I booked my ticket online and, shockingly, it was actually simple. The times were easy to see, the payment went through without any weird issues, and the confirmation email showed up quickly. So yeah, no hassle this time, which was a nice change.

"Safe ride and worth the price"
The bus was clean and the driver seemed really careful, which made me feel safe even traveling later in the evening. For the price, I thought it was a good experience overall. My only complaint is that the station could use better lighting in a few areas.

"Rush hour gets way too crowded"
The buses are usually packed during rush hour, which makes the ride uncomfortable. They do still get me where I need to go, but it feels like some of the crowding is preventable with more buses or better scheduling.

"Passengers deserve clearer answers"
I asked a couple of staff members about a delayed bus and got two different answers, which was frustrating. One of them was polite, but basically just told me to check the app, which didn’t really help. I get that delays happen, but it feels like the right thing is to make sure staff have clear information to share. When people are just trying to get where they need to go, they deserve simple, reliable answers.

"Scanner just worked, which was a relief"
Used Stagecoach a few times this week and the ticket scanner worked every single time. I just opened my ticket, scanned it, and got on without any faff. No standing there awkwardly while it loads, no driver needing to check it by hand or anything. It’s a small thing, but in the morning when you’re half awake and just trying to get where you’re going... it makes the whole bus trip feel a lot less stressful.

"Helpful updates when my bus was delayed"
My bus was delayed this week, which is never ideal, but Stagecoach kept the app and the stop signs updated well. I like to know what’s going on so I’m not just standing around longer than I need to, especially if it’s getting late. It made the wait a lot less stressful, so fair play to them for that.

I’ve used Stagecoach a few times now and, to be fair, it’s been decent for the price. The buses have mostly turned up on time, and the drivers have been friendly enough whenever I’ve travelled. It’s not fancy or anything, but it does the job well, so I can’t really complain.

"Surprisingly decent wheelchair access"
I wasn’t expecting much, but the ramp worked fine and made getting in easy. The driver was helpful enough too, not exactly going above and beyond, but he did what was needed without making it awkward.
